Oscar nominations come for Brooks, Brown, Wright, and Domingo

The Academy Awards have flushed out its Oscars list. Those included as nominees this year are some of the best in Hollywood. Both Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown were tapped for Oscar nominations for their incredible work in “American Fiction.”

Brown was nominated for a performance by an actor in a supporting role. Wright earned his Academy Award nomination for a performance by an actor in a leading role as the star in “American Fiction.”

Danielle Brooks, who dazzled audiences as Sofia in “The Color Purple,” picked up her Oscar nominations for a performance by an actress in a supporting role.  Domingo, who also starred in “The Color Purple,” was actually nominated in the lead actor category for portraying civil rights activist Bayard Rustin in the film, “Rustin.”
